Braun HL 70 IV

Braun's shift in the late '60s from functionalism towards a more affirmative mode of technological expressionism brought significant changes.

Bright synthetic colours replaced the austere palette of greys; the form was reduced to a cylindrical shape and controls made simplified.

A transparent cradle is made giving a gravity-defying appearance, replacing the fixed stem and base arrangement of earlier designs.
