V for Virus, V for Vocabulary – What’s scarier?

The current pandemic has ignited different battles, and the one with the deadly virus tops the list, of
course! But let’s not underestimate the power of stupidity. There are CovIDIOTS who wear the mask
on their forehead like their glasses. Then there are MORONaviruses who linger around like they’re
superheroes out to save the world. And oh, how can we miss CoviMENTALS who will judge you for
even sneezing now. Sigh!

But apart from all this, there’s one more thing that is spreading like wildfire. Yes, you guessed it right! We are talking about new words.

2020 – With an explosion of wordplay and expressions of how quickly the new vocabulary spreads along with the so called now Rona, has changed the dictionary world. We've learned new terms like Flatten the Curve, Epidemic vs Pandemic, Quarantine vs Isolation, 🌽-teen, PROdrome, Fomites, Viral load, SPENDemic, quaranTINI, coroNIALS, hunkerdown, coronACATIONS, WFH & PPE etc.
