Death Of Gaia by Orlando Arocena 2013

Zeus, the white bull, emerges from the celestial plane to witness the Death of Gaia. As she is laid to rest, the 3 elements of Land, Sea and Air are represented like markers to a map. The Thunder bird announces her departing soul. While she is cradled in a bed of flowers that transform into flanking skulls. All the while- the oblivious, hungry to conduct their money- show no sign of pity and continue their hypocritical ways.
