Drone Honeybee

Character studies for the drone honeybee. Let’s get real for a second. These males live for only a few weeks and have one job: mate with the queen bee. Other than that they just bum around the hive eating the honey all the female worker bees made. And when they mate with the queen, they literally die. And if they don’t mate with the queen or die by the end of the summer, their butts get kicked out of the hive! Without access to food or shelter, they die shortly after. Nature is cruel!
