New Portfolio Design 2 - WIP - Opinions?

Hey guys! This is my working version of my new portfolio site - The profile page. It's a really basic design that will stay out of the users way while letting the work stand out.

I need all your opinions (good or bad) - What do you think of it? Any critiques are greatly appreciated.

Oh yes - the concept behind the fucked up profile image is just to give it a "digital" feel since I design primarily for screens / devices
