Love Kelvingrove Branding Proposal

Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow City are looking for branding to promote less antisocial in the Park. In the (hopefully) post Coronavirus world, things have become tense and uncertain. Violence, distrust and strife have been all to prevelant. Financial, race, health and nationalist issues seem to be everywhere people gather. Compound this with anti-social behaviour and it seems as if there is not much hope. In the past, a similar era of race riots, Vietnam and an oil crisis were happening, it was the sixties. But the people had an antidote to these problems and there was an all to brief “happening”, “The Summer of Love”. People rejected all the negativity and for a while there seemed to be hope for the future. In this logo, I have tried to revive this positivity by using the visual language of that time. Maybe this logo might inspire people who come to Kelvingrove now to behave in that spirit of peace, respect and harmony?
