Kabul - Wartime Memorial

In the 1950s and 1960s, Kabul was a peaceful city where modern buildings were constructed along traditional structures and some of the biggest strides were made toward a more liberal, westernized society and lifestyle. However, after World War II, Afghanistan become never-ending war area between terrorist groups and global powers. Many people lost their lives, many had to left their home.
