Mombcast 2013 sketches

With the 200 episode milestone recently passed, it was time to look again at the MOMBcast logo. That’s if you could really call it one—the old one was a repurposed illustration. It got a little messy and murky at smaller sizes, so I wanted to take its spirit and make it clearer.

Here are two pages from my sketchbook where I’m figuring out how a simpler looking monkey would work. Early versions were too ugly and unfriendly.
