Let me risk a little more light....

The dwarf gasped as I collided blindly into his outstretched arm.

"What!? What can you see?"

The moment's pause was filled with the chaotic thundering of water. Still, I could see nothing, but the echoey river noises that had accompanied us since entering the cave now had changed into something immense and foreboding.

"...I...think we should risk some light," the dwarf replied in a shouted whisper, trying to overpower the grey roar. "I don't think I have the words for this one."

"What about the Goblins?"

"It's a risk we'll have to take, my friend. My dwarven eyes may be keen, but I see no path from this point forward. Make a light, and you will understand."

Coming up with some set pieces for this cave adventure. I'm not sure what I thought d&d was before, but it's literally nothing Iike I thought. Creating scenes, stories, and artwork for it is about the most fun and addicting thing ever.
