Watership Down - Book cover illustration

One of my favorite books of all time. I was ecstatic to have an opportunity to do my own take on this classic tale and create an original scene.

I wanted it to be a little dark and spooky and a sense of 'all hope is lost' but position the characters looking valiantly into the moonlight to communicate the strength and bravery of the group of characters. One of my favorite projects.
