Colorful Butterfly

I started by looking for the image of a butterfly with a beautiful shape. From there I started adding colors and shapes in Adobe Fresco. I only did one side, as I was planning on mirroring the other side when the work was refined. Once I was happy with the direction I had on Fresco, I decided to import into Adobe Illustrator to refine the shapes and tighten the design. I created the body of the butterfly and designed it, then I refined a bit more the wing, made a copy, and mirrored it to the opposite side. It took me many hours, but I was very pleased with the outcome.
