Waveform Series: techno screen prints.

Each poster visualises the waveforms generated by some of my favourite pieces of techno and electronic music. Using traditional, hand-pulled, silk-screen printing processes each waveform is lovingly crafted into a limited edition A2 print, signed and numbered by me.

The paper.

Each white waveform is printed onto a weighty stock: 270gsm Colorplan by GFSmith. Why? Artists and designers all over the world use this premium uncoated paper because it is beautiful, iconic, and FSC certified. The waveform is printed in white.

Screen printing.

Silkscreen printing is a traditional, versatile technique that uses mesh to create a stencil for artists to print their work onto almost any surface. Ink is 'pushed' through the stencil by hand using a squeegee, leaving a beautiful finish. The printer I use, I Dress Myself, minimise the use of natural resources and were the first screen printers in the UK to use 100% solvent-free water-based inks for paper and garment printing. They source products from companies with robust ethical standards.

Strictly limited edition.

Only 25 of each print will be produced in this series. The earlier you back the project, the earlier your edition will be. Get in fast though: once each print is sold out it will never be reprinted in the same colour.
