Cubs Bear Logo

Design for a new secondary/sleeve logo for the Cubs, in the style of Otis Shepard—the legendary designer responsible for the team's logo and uniforms as we presently know them.

I feel the current "walking bear" design has outstayed its welcome and begun to look dated, and I also think a team like the Cubs could use a more lighthearted and friendly mascot.

I drew inspiration from the multitude of material Shepard designed for the team using the bear mascot. I've always been a big fan of his original sleeve patch logo, but wanted to give it more personality.
