Soothsayer Winery

This project was for my senior portfolio preparation class. We had to come up with our own project and I would love to expand my skills into wine and beer branding and so I based my project around brand development for a fictional winery based in Spokane, Washington. The deliverables were a company name, logo designs, packaging, business cards, social media, and web design. My overall goal was to come up with a series of three wines that showcase the brand and tell a story about the company. The logo consists of a magical eye and open hands which reflect the brand name Soothsayer, which is a fortune teller. I chose to create the wine labels based around animals that have mischievous traits and wanted to stick to a black and white color palette to hone in on the intricate details for each illustration. I am a huge fan of printmaking and created the designs to look like they were etched onto the labels. I designed this mockup website for the winery to showcase the wines globally and customers can purchase the wine and learn more about the brand and it’s unique and beautiful location in Spokane,Washington. Viewers can book wine events and learn more about the tasting room at Soothsayer.
