"Portugal-Sardine" - Festas de Lisboa 2020 Illustration Proposal
This was my proposal for the Festas de Lisboa 2020 Illustration Contest.
The premise of the contest is that you create your take on a Sardine fish silhouette, with a creative twist on the Lisbon's event called "Festas de St. António" where the traditional food served is sardine on the grill.
My take was transforming the sardine, a well known and tipical food from Portugal, into the country itself. Thus combining the Portuguese map with the form of the sardine.
The illustration was done combining vectorial shapes and digital hand drawings on Adobe Illustrator and Procreate.
