As we continue to support and be accomplices to Black people, here and abroad, let's remember to dream and imagine. Abolishing the police is step 1, the first step towards dreaming again, breathing again. Abolishing the police also means funding community programs. We have lives to protect. Black Lives Matter means we invest in systems that keep Black lives safe, just the same way white/light-skin folk are kept safe. A better world is possible.
