Logo design for a local buffet

I was commissioned to design a logo and come up with a name for a local buffet on a polytechnique.

In addition to warm, tasty meals canteen's offer also include catering services and fresh, quality coffee roosted by it’s owner.

My intention was to make the offer visible in the mark and to make it look delicious.
I used letters rooted in polish typographic traditions inspired by the lettering of craft workshops.
