Punk Dog - Illustration series (1/3)

For this series of illustrations I wanted to try some cool character designs with a slightly different style. I wanted the strokes to play a very prominent role this time.

In terms of drawing and coloring I loved the classic process of inks, flats, shading and effects. I should do more character designs in this style in the future. It was a real blast and I enjoyed every step of the process.

The series is inspired by 80's men's fashion catalogs. I absolutely love those old outfits and the poses and the style. The big suits, the attitude. Love it!
