The first label in a Series for the Revival Beer Company featuring prohibition era recipes inspired by notorious underworld figures.
Maddens no 1 is the original gangster beer, first brewed in 1926 by Owney ‘The Killer’ Madden. For several years it was the most popular & only beer in New York; available at Madden’s many Speakeasy’s, including the famous
“Cotton Club”.
