Using heavy shapes and thick lines for character illustrations is such a blast. Look at those colors!

I also love the composition of the scene, having the singer look off from the left corner and out to the crowd with the stage light shining on him really helps with the sensation of snapping a quick photo of the performer from front row in the audience.
