The impossible process of creating a typeface

Like I stated on my debut shot I was creating a new display typeface. Well, these are a few of the earlier thinking when planning out the rough ideas of creating this font. The font has since moved on quite a bit since these sketches. I have since moved these across to digital form. Still a long way off from completion but I have learned so much from this process, more than I would have by just reading about creating a font. The members at http://typophile.com/ were a massive help at the beginning stages too.
