MCB wanted to be sure their employees wouldn’t miss important company events, but they also hoped to avoid the typical boring Company News section. We placed a colored banner on the homepage, where we display the news of the day. The news doesn’t include photos, making it relatively easy to design, but we prepared multiple options with a gradient background, so that the banner doesn’t become too annoying. Users simply click on it to read more – or just get the main idea from the headline.
