30 Days of Art: (15) Gmail Vertical Tab Navigation
Wow, can you believe it already? I'm halfway finished with my 30 Days of Art project for school! 😼
I heard of vertical tabs through a UX forum question; I don't know why, but it's stuck with me ever since and I wanted to include a design at some point during my 30 Days project. I chose Gmail as my subject of focus for today because as one of their most used email servers on the web, it blows my mind that their Settings page is an absolute mess. And for this redesign, I chose to move the "Settings" tab below the primary navigation tab so that users know that the Settings page actually exists. For instance, I didn't even know you could change your theme on Gmail years after I made an account 🤷🏻♀️
