Film Company Logo Option 1

I've been asked to do a mark for a local film company. The name Donkey Stone comes from a stone that old washer women in the north of the UK would put on their doorstep to clean their clothes on.

This is one of two options. I've found the reference to be quite hard to recreate in identity form, so I've simplified it to just a stone texture, and tried to build a movie camera into the left-hand side of the logo, using the D & O as the reel canisters on top.
