Quarantine Redesigns: The Largesse of the Sea Maiden

Redesigning the covers of my quarantine reads for fun.

This cover developed organically as I shifted from one concept to another. I started with an idea from one of the short stories — a man throws his expensive painting on the fire in an act of defiance. But once I had the background image of ashes, I started noticing similarities to a composition notebook, or the flotsam and jetsam of the tide, which reverberated strongly with other stories in the collection.
