Manual Labor Hallmak

Hallmarks date back as early as the 14th century, serving as an official mark of purity (originally for metals) and in our case, pride. The first mark, identifies the maker (that's us), the second symbolizes where it was made (we are #MadeInBrooklyn) and the last is when it was created (2012). Our hallmark represents how we love to #DoGreatWorkWithGoodPeople.

Not only is Manual Labor based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, it was the Brooklyn Bridge’s 137th birthday on May 24th. In celebration, here are some fun facts:
Roebling's wife, Emily was responsible for much of the work. #WomenGetShitDone
Roebling hollowed out rooms under the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and rented it out as wine cellars. Cheers!
Construction workers used only their two bare hands. Talk about Manual Labor!
