Nava redesign

The logo was the first thing we did, and a new concept would be made around it. The first assumption was that the form had to be simple & easy to apply on different surfaces and materials (such as workwear, working equipment, helmets). The second – it had to be connected with the industry that the client operated in engineering, mechanical cranes, steel constructions, shipbuilding. The idea was to make it modern and break from the conservative design stereotypes of the engineering and maritime industry.

Our first step was designing a logo based on a clear and technical hand-written typography. There is a full version of it as well as a simplified version with a standalone N to be used when the area is limited. The color theme was based on a basic shade of blue and enriched with the tones of the setting sun – shades of blue were complemented by orange, rose, and violet.
