Connected Treasures

Connected Treasures is an architectural event that focuses on introducing Indonesian design and culture to the world through interactive installations. The competition joined by students across Indonesia, and the top 15 selected installations will be showcased at the Connected Treasures for 1 month in San Francisco. The purpose of this project is about rethinking on how architecture, interior, and urban design play important roles in creating a space that encourages conversations and promotes cultural exchange and social activity. The theme of this project surrounds the art of Batik, which is the art of decorating cloth using wax and dye originated from Java, Indonesia. The outcome of this project is to encourage visitors to participate, play, and become part of the installations.
