Viewing count (Eye Animation)
Live viewing count (Actual count of people who're currently eyeing on this product) on Myntra's product page to create urgency. I played around with little animation to make it more focusable and delightful for the user.
It's based on the Scarcity Principle (One of the Cialdini's 7 principles of Persuasion). Basically, how can you convince your users to buy this product? In Scarcity Principle, You can trigger your customer's sense of urgency with Utilising competitions or showing Limited stock i.e. This X product is popular as is it viewing by a lot of people, Which can validate your choice of product and bring confidence in your purchase. You can learn more about the same by reading this amazing book "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" by Cialdini Robert B.
