Cow Valley Creamery - Concept 1

The start of a long personal project, Cow Valley Creamery is born! In a quest to show some variation in my work, I'll be posting a new concept for this brand each week.

This first concept draws a lot of inspiration from where I grew up. My high school was called Cowanesque Valley and it's built smack in the middle of farmland. Cows literally watch our football team play, so everyone calls us Cow Valley. Farming is a huge part of home so it seemed fitting to combine all these parts of my roots into the first concept. The color palette even draws from the high school's.

It's a blue collar collar region so I wanted this concept to reflect worth ethic and authentic trustworthiness. Finding a balance that is visually refreshing while feeling established is important to fit in with the culture. I wanted to create something my grandpa would have been proud to put on his bottles.

I think the final concept feels authentically Pennsylvania and that's alright by me.
