Today I’d love to share with you a cool concept I’ve been working on.
A few days ago, I tweeted that I came to realize how powerful Twitter was to learn new skills and interact with super cool communities. It's really not just about the memes.
In fact, experts and experienced people tweet a lot about their knowledge on fields I am interested in, such as stock market, design, and engineering. I found out that by going through their tweets in chronological order, I’d be able to learn a lot about those fields and get on the same learning path those people took to be at the position they are today.
That’s how the concept for Tweeps came up. In order to get the most information out of those tweets, I created a platform to collect the tweets. It works in two steps. First, write the username of the Twitter account you want to collect tweets from. Secondly, select the information you wish to collect. You’ll receive a CSV file with all the tweets that person has ever tweeted, in chronological order. It’s as easy as that. Then, the data is all yours to learn!
