Hey guys! Just a simple little shot today... I made this icon a while ago for everyone's favorite war-themed hat simulator, but never got around to releasing it until now.

The texturing is a combination of filtered source photos and sloppy paintovers with my tablet [you can see some brushwork in the 1024px version]. The background texturing and coloring is intended to be a more realistic tribute to the game's amazing impressionist aesthetic. No 3D used this time, by the way, since the perspective's quite simple and the textures are all low-level.

The .icns file is attached, and I'll be adding this icon to my website shortly, along with some other recent work. I've also got a big new client project to show you guys soon, so stay tuned :)
