Visual Idenity // UNV East and Southern Africa

In February 2020, UNV East and Southern Africa partnered with Future by Design Studio to reposition the UNV regional visual identity to ensure consistent and regionally adaptable communications. The brand strategy promotes the regional context of East and Southern Africa while maintaining consistency with the global brand.

The brand strategy profiles regional volunteers as champions and catalysts of change, raising awareness among the targeted audiences on the value of promoting more volunteer opportunities, and recruiting more volunteers across the region.

The brand is built around four main shapes, presented in the UNV East and Southern Africa's main colours. These shapes celebrate the geographical and cultural diversity of East and Southern Africa while placing volunteers at its centre.
