2019 Fran Folsom Culinary Dinner Invitation Suite

Design an invitation suite to include a save the date postcard, invite, program and menu for the Pikes Peak Community College fundraising dinner for culinary arts students. Creative direction included giving the design an elegant feel, high production value and reflective of the hard efforts of the students.

Solution
I wanted the suite to have a rustic feel to reflect the style of the food being served. I accomplished this through the color palette, simple sketched illustrations and a typeface that had a hand lettered feel. I also chose a paper with a deckled edge to provide an unpolished quality to the suite. High production value design elements such as the belly band around the invitation and paper quality reflected the elegance of the event.
