The Littlest Ogre

The Littlest Ogre is a story about Grub who is ordinary in an extraordinary family and sets out on an adventure to discover what makes him special. I wrote, illustrated, and designed the entire book and am proud of the results. I remember the impact Dr. Suess’ black and white art had on me as a child and chose to do the same. I found the restricted palette complimented the dense details of the illustrations nicley. The san serif typeface I chose adds a nice bold compliment to the geometric volumes used within the art while allowing some breathing room
for the action to shine.
