Old Creek

I'm doing a series of fake props belonging to the main character of my favourite comic book: Blacksad.

The books are set in 1950 New York. In the book, Blacksad drinks a lot of bourbon, so I designed the label of the bottle he would have on his desk. I happened to have an old empty bottle in the house so I designed the label to fit it.

This was my favourite prop to design and I learned a lot like how they used to measure alcohol content in "proof".
