Be like water - Bruce Lee

This sunday morning I felt creative, so I decided to start creating something around martial arts and wanted to implement Bruce Lee's influence into it. The picture I choose was originally very different, but I modified it quite a bit. I wanted the picture to convey a sense of respect and control, but at the same time a tiny bit of agressivity, unknown, and spirituality, which is why I added red gradients and smoke effect. As the subject is what truly makes the design, I wanted to emphasize that by placing the quote's text in a circle around it so that it will really draw the eye in the center. At the end, I also ended up adding a glowing effect on the text to make it pop more and add a bit of funk in the picture, to break from the style I establish and create contrast.
