Your Field Of Flowers

This 10-page concertina Comic Zine is based on a poem I wrote called ‘Your Field Of Flowers’. I wrote this poem whilst recovering from a broken pelvis and wrist - yes that is every Illustrators nightmare… but I am ok now and it was lovely to come back and illustrate the Zine when I could. It’s funny how not being able to draw for a while brings out creativity in other ways!

This Zine will mean something slightly different to everyone, but to me it is about self-discovery and not letting a person, or situation tie you down. It is about having the strength to put you first, so that you can get out there in the world and explore all of the flowers that it has to offer.
