Day of Mourning & Hope

Day of Mourning and Hope is a day of remembrance, honoured in Lithuania on June 14. The symbol was created for this special occasion. It illustrates the blossom of tilia tree and marks the time when tragic events occured. It appears as a symbol of lost youth, a distant memory which brings up hope.
