Instagram concept
What do I really love in UI / UX design? The opportunity to express ourselves, explore how we use products, rethink familiar things and come up with something new, look at things from a different angle.
The web version of the Instagram app looks quite outdated. I feel the styles and emotions of 2014 in it. But when I look at Instagram concepts on different sites, I see completely non-viable designs. They cannot be applied in real life; they miss many functions of the original application. In the words of the director Stanislavsky: "I do not believe!".
This prompted me to develop my own concept, my vision of an application that refreshes the look of Instagram and maintains the restraint of the original. In my concept, the solution to the global problem of social networks is also preserved. The race for numbers, likes - has a detrimental effect on consciousness. People start thinking and doing just for the sake of counting.
In my opinion, this is a very "viable" concept, fresh and pleasing to the eye. The main goal is content, to provide it to the user as extensively and accurately as possible. You see publications, notifications, search fields in more detail than ever. This is the most colorful, lightest and most intuitive version of Instagram that could ever be.
A different order of posts represents a view of the publication feed from a different angle. This not only changes the way we look from place to place, but also allows us to randomly distribute publications of different heights. This is an additional idea to the amazing concept.
And... just look at the check mark for a verified profile. It does not distinguish the account much from others, but it emphasizes the uniqueness of the author, being right next to the nickname and profile photo.
