Character concepts

Here are some very early, very rough cracks at a character I've been designing for an animator friend. For right now, we're shooting for a big-eared kid whose mouth functions something like a muppet's. None of these are anywhere near where the finalized character needs to be, but maybe somewhere in this sea of garbage-faces lies a nugget of potential.
