Lyft Carousel Mode Selector UI
When I joined Lyft in late 2017 there was a project underway to redesign the app and the team was struggling with the barrel roll ride mode selector. Riders were not getting how to use it and it looked terrible when scrolled to the top/bottom. I advocated moving away from the non-intuitive iOS-centric UI towards a flat Material design that would work cross-platform with Android.
My colleague Gordon Tindall jumped on the challenge and really pushed the work forward!
