1 Hour Logo Challenge #10 Avontuur

Literally meaning adventure in Afrikaans, Avontuur specialises in outdoor and camping gears, such as backpacks and tents. Knowing what the brand does together with the meaning to its name, I started the design ideation off by connecting the dots: camping with a hidden "African" meaning.

There were a couple of details that looked off for Hitesh and those were his first few comments. Do you notice them? 🙈

Details aside, the logo looked iconic and the camping element showed through for him. He didn’t catch the African side of the logo immediately, but was in for a nice surprise when I revealed. Talk about achievement unlocked! 🤓

But yes, the African tribal pattern was what I was going for, both in form and colour. Did you also notice this one? 🙈
