Hack Auto Layout / Figma
If you work with Figma you should love Auto Layout, right? It is an incredible resource for organizing elements and optimizing components.
During our migration we faced a problem: when optimizing a chip and avoiding the need to create several Master Components, we had difficulty controlling the padding, because in Figma we have no individual control of each side. We solved this by creating an invisible layer inside the component.
I share here link on how we solved this problem. We are starting our journey at Figma and i am not sure if this solutions is the best one. If you have any suggestions, i would love to know. Anyway, maybe our solution can help you. 😌
