Japanese Traditional Pattern "MIKUZUSHI MOYOU"

The counting rods (SANGI) were used for Japanese Mathmatics until Muromachi Period.
This pattern lookd like someone break the rods so it had been calld “SANGI BREAKS”
However, they arranged them three by three vertically and horizontally like a stone pavement pattern,
so it had become to be called “MIKUZUSHI”
(”MI” means three and “KUZUSHI” means collasp)
