With my picture I wanted to convey both the power of Amy Winehouse’s music and the delicacy of her nature. I looked for gestures unique to her – like how she would put her hands on her hips and lift up her skirt while she sang. The picture focuses on her face and hands, while the palette is gold and black.

Amy's music is strong and sincere. We can forget about everything and just concentrate on her music and enjoy her voice. It’s very important just being focused on your own feelings.
