Consolidated currencies

It’s not uncommon for investors in real estate to have holdings returning value in several currencies. As a result, we needed to communicate which of those values had been converted from their original currencies (critical for normalizing data for use in visualizations), and which had not.

This was a simple way for us to communicate that a value had been altered, without overwhelming the interface. While we wanted to be clear when data wasn’t in its original form, we also didn’t want to distract investors from the data itself.

If you’re interested in some of the big challenges with international investing, real estate, and financial technology tools in general, we’re actively looking for product designers to join our team.

Cheers,
– Alex
