Process of design and creation of a book cover honoring Walden or, Life in the Woods, by Henry David Thoreau. The design process begins with the creation of the lettering. Later the design is transferred to a gray linoleum plate. Then comes the process of printing on engraving paper using Charbonnel ink. With copperplate calligraphy I have written the subtitle and the author's name. I have finally applied the design to a Freepik mock up.
