Japanese Traditional Pattern "ASA NO HA MOYOU"

I wanted to create modern versions of Japanese traditional patterns.
Even I am Japanese, I didn't know about the meaning of these patterns so wanted to share with you guys :)

“ASA NO HA MOYOU” is one of the Japanese unique patterns.
A geometric pattern based on a regular hexagon.

The origin of the name was literally associated
with the shape of the leaf of "hemp."
Since hemp is strong and grow straight up,
there was a custom that they used a baby wear with this pattern
especially for a new born baby.
