Study-Buddy App for the Library

Hello Dribbble!

So lately I've been individually preparing for a service design project by experimenting with the theories I learned. I think it's impressive how much there is to learn about this topic—especially since I didn't even know about service design before I started all this.

Now, the one design I'm sharing with you today is based on a set of theories I learned and a vast amount of user research I've done for the local library and its customers.

I discovered the library isn't doing much about the service concerning the study facilities. This isn't necessarily a problem. But it is a huge opportunity when we keep in mind that a major part of the customers consists of those who come to study.

The concept I came up with is this app that enables the studying library-goers to find and offer help to one another in the library itself. Because of this, they can fulfil their social goal to learn from others. (it had to be a mobile app, since I'm enrolled in the Interactions 4 Mobile semester ;)

For the juicy details, I'll be writing a case study soon. Thanks for checking out my work!

P.S. I had to speed up the video to fit Dribbble's time limit. Didn't know that until now!
